Project Home Again
Deeply affected by the profound impact of Hurricane Katrina on the residents of New Orleans, Barnes and Noble owner Leonard Riggio founded Project Home Again pledging to build homes to bring displaced low- and middle-income families back to their neighborhoods. Documenting the project through interviews and photography, we worked alongside National Geographic photographer Michael Melford and LX-2 Design to create this coffee table book honoring Mr. Riggio’s commitment to building 101 free and furnished homes in one of the hardest hit areas of the city, his hardworking team of builders, architects and planners, the families whose lives were forever changed by the project, and all of their love for the city of New Orleans. This exquisitely printed book only had a run of 3 copies and consisted of 3 parts: Destruction, Rebirth and Celebration.
