Killer Bees

Amidst all of the glitz and glamour of the various villages and hamlets dotted across the Hamptons, is the small and traditionally lower-income Bridgehampton School. It’s varsity boys basketball team known as the Killer Bees have won nine state championships – a fairly impressive number when considering that this most diminutive of schools has fewer than 200 kids in K-12. The team and it’s community were also featured in the award-winning 2017 documentary film “Killer Bees”. We were recently hired to redesign the school’s mascot which was in great need of updating. Through a process of interviews and multiple presentations to the school-board, this new and improved Killer Bee was developed and now lines the halls of Bridgehampton School.
